This coming Tuesday is Flag Day.
But did you know it was also the Army’s Birthday?
The Continental Army was formed on June 14, 1775. The Flag was adopted on June 14, 1777 — two years after we already had an Army!
So be sure to post a flag, salute it and say, “Happy 236th birthday, U.S. Army!”
And if you see a soldier, be sure to say, “Thank you!”
