LAHS-graduation

The ceremony started late, anybody sitting in the sun roasted and there were rumors that the traffic was even worse than prior years due to a nearby traffic accident.

Los Alamitos Unified School District Superintendent Greg Franklin congratulated his last class of seniors graduation from Los Alamitos High School before he turns over the keys to his office and takes over as as superintendent of Tustin Unified School District.

His successor, Dr. Sherry Kropp, was also seated on the dais for the ceremony.

Seven hundred eighty-six graduates marched in to the sounds of Edward Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance played by the school band.

Faculty sat in chairs down the center aisle and in the back two rows.

The choir performed a stellar rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner as the flag at Falcon Stadium on the west end of the Cerritos College rolled in a brisk breeze.

Congratulations, grads!
