September 2, 2011

SUSPICIOUS PERSON IN A VEHICLE – 12:05 a.m. – Katella Ave. – Caller sees subjects possibly stealing a black Honda Accord. Subjects are pushing the vehicle near the bank. Lights are off in the vehicle. Prior to pushing the vehicle, caller observed the subjects huddling around the vehicle. Vehicle confirmed to be stolen and released to registered owner. Subjects arrested.

 

EMBEZZLEMENT REPORT – 5:16 p.m. – Los Alamitos Blvd. – Ex-employee has embezzled over $1900 from a company credit card. Caller requested counseling. Her parents/victims of embezzlement by a long-time family friend. No prosecution desired at this time/will try to settle in civil court first.

 

September 3, 2011

DISTURBANCE – 1:02 a.m. – Kyle St. – Male is yelling at another male. Caller hears sounds of a physical disturbance. Caller is not telling dispatch what is going on, just yelling at a male. Caller states he’s been chased. One subject arrested.

 

DISTURBANCE SUBJECT – 2:40 a.m. – Katella Ave. – Caller being followed by his ex-girlfriend. Verbal disturbance only – female subject did not want the male half to leave. Taxi requested.

 

September 4, 2011

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – 2:35 a.m. – Walnut St. – Just heard in the area, possibly in the alley. Caller heard a female scream. Caller can still hear them yelling, but unable to make out what female said. Second reporting party reporting same, heard only. Another reporting partly reports seeing the female hitting the male half. Verbal disturbance. Subjects counseled.

 

HAIL BY CITIZEN – 9:40 p.m. – Katella/Wallingsford – Reckless driver followed the reporting party and honking, swerving in front and stopping. Counseled.

 

September 5, 2011

DRUNK – 12:57 p.m. – Katella/Lexington – Male subject at bus bench on the south side of the street possibly drunk and keeps going out into the street, pretending he is going to hit vehicles. Assisted.

 

MUNICIPLE CODE VIOLATION – 7:13 p.m. – Green Ave. – Subjects trimming trees in the alley. Subjects are done cutting the branches for today. They will be loading up branches into a large trash dumpster in the alley. The trees had to be trimmed. Party advised and will comply.

 

September 6, 2011

DISTURBANCE JUVENILE – 2:42 p.m. – Los Alamitos Blvd. – Group of juveniles laying on the sidewalk smoking and using profanities. Party advised and will comply.

 

WELFARE CHECK – 7:20 p.m. – Howard Ave. – Subject sleeping or passed out in a vehicle in the alley to the rear of the location. Caller’s complaint is that the vehicle is parked illegally. Subject arrested for DUI and vehicle towed.

 

September 7, 2011

COUNSELING – 11:51 a.m. – Katella Ave. – Reporting party received information that a subject is threatening to use a gun on her boyfriend because he is stealing money from her. Potential victim lives in Texas and has already been notified of possible threat. Counseled.

 

STRUCTURE FIRE – 7:00 p.m. – Howard Ave. – Fire in the kitchen. Fire department en route. Kitchen exhaust fan over stove began to smoke. Possibly caused by grease and dust. No flames visible. OCFA handled. Assisted.

 

September 8, 2011

TRANSIENT – 1:22 p.m. – Los Alamitos/Orangewood – Male transient, screaming, yelling, throwing his belongings in the street. Same subject from earlier incident. No clothes in the street and subject checks.

 

SUSPICIOUS PERSON – 4:09 p.m. – Chestnut St. – Male in the rear parking lot appears to be working on a bicycle. Caller says he looked suspicious. Unable to locate.
