At its regular meeting on Thursday, Oct. 13, the Board of Trustees for Cypress School District approved the acceptance of the following gifts as part of its consent calendar:
- miscellaneous school supplies, including glue, folers, colored pencils, erasers, pencils, markers, rulers and pens, from La Palma Kiwanis to Luther School
- five cases of copy paper from Brian Nakamura (a district trustee) to Luther School
- $705.38 from Target Take Charge of Education to Landell School
- $6.93 from Vons to Vessels School
- $162.89 from Target Take Charge of Education to Vessels School
- $390 from Boeing to Vessels School
- $315.64 from Ralphs/Kroger Community Donation Programs to Luther School
- $1.50 from eScrip Safeway BAck to Schools Program to Luther School
- $483.27 from Target Take Charge of Education to Luther School
Consent items are considered routine. They are grouped together to be approved by a single motion, unless a member of the board requests that an item be pulled for individual discussion and action.
