LAUSD Board votes to accept donations

Los Alamitos School District

The Board of Education for Los Alamitos Unified School District voted to accept the following donations at its regular meeting on Tuesday, October 11:

  • $754.94 from Friends of Weaver for Weaver Elementary School
  • $1,200.00 from Chen Medical Corporation for Hopkinson Elementary School
  • $634.00 from Friends of Hopkinson for Hopkinson Elementary School
  • $19.29 from Coby Dan’s LLC dba Cowboy Dan’s Jerky Emporium for Los Alamitos High School
  • $35.56 from Hopkinson School PTA for Hopkinson Elementary School
  • $3,012.45 from Friends of Hopkinson for Hopkinson Elementary School
  • $150.00 from Wells Fargo Foundation Educational Matching Gift Program for McGaugh Elementary School
  • $100.00 from Las Damas Art Festival for McGaugh Elementary School
  • $3,526.01 from Los Alamitos High School PTSA for Los Alamitos High School
  • Twelve (12) Hewlett Packard PCs and seven (7) Dell Notebooks from DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) for Oak Middle School
  • $1,407.76 from Target Take Charge of Education Program for Hopkinson Elementary School
  • $5,000.00 from Friends of Rossmoor School for Rossmoor Elementary School
  • $2,842.80 from Project Leap for Lee Elementary School

Total monetary donations approved: $13,682.81.

Total year-to-date monetary donations: $171,486.53.
