Bring your group to be a part of our group as the Holiday Extravaganza helps to start the month of December with merriment, good food, an interesting silent auction and opportunity items. The 2011 Cypress Chamber Holiday Extravaganza, presented by Warland Investments Company, is set for Dec. 7 at the Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“The Chamber’s Holiday Extravaganza has become a tradition for not only Chamber members, but the community as well, with an evening of fun and entertainment befitting the holiday season,” said Board Chairman George O’Hara. “We certainly have fun and it’s a great way for individuals as well as small companies to be a part of an office party. In a year when small businesses might not have an opportunity to do a bigger bash for their employees, this is a chance to get together. So for business large and small, bring your group to be a part of our group. We want people to get dressed up in holiday clothes and share some great time with your friends, family and business associates. It’s more than a get-together. It’s a party… a great way to start to the month of December.”
The evening’s fare includes a reception, sit down dinner, music, opportunity drawings and silent auction, all blended together with holiday cheer. The cost is $50 per person with tables of eight available for $400. Opportunity drawing tickets can be purchased in advance.
Members are encouraged to donate something for the silent auction and opportunity drawings. It’s a great way to promote your company. Among the items that have been a part of the silent auction before have been sports and entertainment tickets, catering, restaurant and food gift certificates, hotel stays, boats, travel packages, cameras, televisions, bicycles, gift baskets, photo packages, clothes, sports memorabilia, furniture, golf packages, athletic equipment, medical exams, bottles of wine, CPA services, china and much more.
