This weekly shopping list was created by the American Red Cross. It helps people develop an emergency kit in 21 weeks, even when the household budget is tight. All that needs to be done is to follow the shopping list.

The following is what to do in the sixteenth week as you continue to build your emergency kit.

  • 1 gallon water
  • 2 cans meat/fish
  • cell phone & charger
  • dried fruits and nuts
  • weather radio $1.75*
