Register now at the City of Los Alamitos for CPR for Adults, Infant & Child, as well as First Aid classes for ages 16 years and older. Both classes will be held on Saturday, February 18 at the Community Center, 10911 Oak Street, Los Alamitos.
CPR for Adults, Infant & Child (Class #2254-10; 8-11am) is designed to teach both the lay person and professional how to initially respond to cardiac or respiratory arrest. Learn single rescue CPR for adult, child and infant as well as foreign object removal techniques for airways.
First Aid (Class #2253-10; 11am-2pm) will teach you how to respond to and assess an injury or illness. Topics include vital signs, bleeding, burns, fractures, heat and cold emergencies, strokes, and seizures. Participants will receive state and nationally recognized E.M.S. first aid card and certification.
