Chinese restaurant to open at Valley View and Lincoln

According to notices posted in the store front windows, a China Bowl restaurant is now accepting employment applications.

The store is located at 8890-A Valley View Street, in the Albertsons shopping center on the northeast corner of Valley View St. and Lincoln Blvd., across Lincoln from Cypress College.

A new Mexican restaurant, Tacos San Pedro, was approved by the Cypress City Council last November for a nearby location on the south side of Lincoln.

The previous tenant at the Albertsons center location was a frozen yogurt shop that barely lasted long enough to publish an article about.

We wish the new restaurant a long life.

The recent opening of Dollar Tree next door to Big Lots filled a large store front that had stood empty for years. When the China Bowl Express opens, the Albertsons shopping center will once again be fully leased.

If you would like to request an employment application, email ChinaBowlExpress@sbcglobal.net (application requests only).
