At the conclusion of the regular meeting of the Cypress City Council on Monday, Feb. 13, Cypress Mayor Doug Bailey announced that long-time Cypress tennis instructor Nancy Jennings died recently after a brief illness.
Ms. Jennings was recognized at the Nov. 28, 2011, City Council meeting for thirty years of instructional service, along with Miss Ginger Anderson (dance) and Ms. Kathi Wegener (karate).
In adjourning the meeting in her honor, Mayor Bailey said that she would be deeply missed.
