The win by Los Alamitos High School Cheer was noted and applauded at the regular meeting of the Los Alamitos Unified School District Board of Trustees on Feb. 14.
As part of her report, Kay Tanseco, student representative to the Board, informed Board members and District administrative staff that Los Al Cheer traveled to Florida for national competition on Feb. 9 through 14. The team won first place on Feb. 12.
