At the RCSD’s monthly meeting held Tuesday, 2/14, Lt. Wren, of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, gave his quarterly report. Below is a summary provided for the last quarter of 2011.

In reviewing this information, while there is no question there has been some increase in crime year over year, it is important to also put things in proper perspective. To get a better understanding of the types of crimes being committed in Rossmoor, please see the detailed summary directly below the Yearly Comparison Chart.

Also, on Tuesday, February 28th, at Rush Park from 6:00 to 8:00 there will be a community meeting arranged by RPMT with Investigator Purser and Lt. Wren from the OC Sheriff’s office. They will be providing updated crime information as well as answering any of our questions.
