Cypress Soroptimists plan ladies night out

The following information was released by the Cypress Soroptimist Club.

Club members are arranging the final details for Cypress Soroptimist Ladies Night Out — ‘Arabian Nights.’

The 18th annual fundraiser will be held at the Buena Park Resort Hotel, 7675 Crescent Steet, Buena Park at 6:00 p.m. on Feb. 24. This event is jam-packed with live entertainment, a delicious sit-down dinner, silent and live auctions, opportunity purses and grab-bag surprises.

Live auction items include a variety of items followed by our ever popular “Bachelor Date” line up.

Last year’s ‘Lost in Paradise’ event is still the talk of those in attendance. The Polynesian Warriors are a hard act to follow but the magic of ‘Arabian Nights’ promises to do the job. A limited number of tickets are available from Soroptimist members for $45, no tickets will be sold at the door.

Proceeds fund Soroptimist Women’s Opportunity Awards as well as several scholarships to seniors graduating from local high schools.
