Garage sale to raise funds for Los Alamitos Youth Center seeking donations

The following information was released by The Youth Center in Los Alamitos.

Supporters of The Youth Center in Los Alamitos have a chance to clean out their closets and garages for a good cause by donating items to a garage sale that will be held on Saturday, April 14, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the home of Karen Frankenberg, 2971 Copa de Oro Dr. in Rossmoor (near Hopkinson Elementary School).

The last hour of the sale, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., will see prices drop to one dollar a bag.

Donated items may be dropped off at the Frankenberg home. Those wishing to arrange pick-up of donations may call Karen Frankenberg at 562-244-8180. The last day for pick-up is Wednesday, April 11.

Youth Center, garage sale, items needed

List of suggested donations for Youth Center garage sale

Suggested items for donation include:

  • gently-used sports equipment
  • electronic toys
  • kid’s games
  • bicycles
  • scooters

The Youth Center is nonprofit organization serving youth in Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Seal Beach, and surrounding communities since 1952. If you have any questions or would like to donate or help during the garage sale, please contact the Youth Center at 562-493-4043.
