The following information was released by the Orange County Registrar Recorder.

The process to become a write-in candidate for the June 5th Primary Election began last Friday.

To date we have had a few individuals pull papers for a small number of offices in an attempt to qualify as a write-in candidate.

These completed nomination documents (which require voter signatures) must be filed with our office by May 22, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.

Under the new Top Two Primary there will be no write-in candidates for voter-nominated offices on the General Election ballot.
