The Cypress City Council dedicated the newly constructed Myra Avenue Pump Station No. 2, located at 4261 Myra Avenue, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, April 9, 2012.
This state-of-the-art facility includes two 100-HP motors which power pumps that provide flow at a rate of 15,000 gallons per minute each.
New features also include various equipment upgrades and an emergency natural gas generator.
