The following information was released by the Orange County Transportation Authority.
After nearly 12 months of construction, crews will reopen the northbound I-405 / westbound SR-22 / 7th Street connector, also known as the 7th Street bridge, the morning of Saturday, April 28.
The bridge reconstruction was necessary to accommodate new carpool lanes on the I-405 beneath the bridge as part of the West County Connectors (WCC) project.
The WCC project team would like to thank you for your patience and support during this major closure.
To celebrate the reopening of the 7th Street bridge and thank the community, the WCC team will be out and about this summer at local events. Please join us at the following events to pick up a commemorative “I Survived 7th Street” sticker.
- Seal Beach Car Show – Saturday, April 28
- Rossmoor Community Festival – Sunday, May 6
