The following information was released by Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Holy Cross Lutheran Church and Early Childhood Education Center is collecting material to be sent to U.S. military troops serving around the world.
Items needed include:
- tooth paste and brushes
- chap-stick
- deodorant
- foot and body powder
- sports magazines
- gum
- baby wipes
- beef jerky
- tube socks.
Items may be delivered to the church at 4321 Cerritos Ave. in Cypress Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
You may also bring them with you to our inspiring Memorial Day Worship Service, May 27 at 9:30 a.m.
Please join us as we celebrate America, remember those who’ve fought for her, and thank God for all the blessings bestowed on this great nation.
An old-fashioned Americana picnic lunch will be served following the service, and the gift boxes will be packed for our troops.
