April 20, 2012

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES – 10:15 a.m. – 10000 block of Calle Lee - Continuing problem with the same vehicle traveling down the street at a high rate of speed in front of the caller’s business. Caller believes the driver works in the area due to this being a daily problem. Located the vehicle in a parking lot on Corporate. Unable to locate the driver. Caller requests extra patrol during weekdays and daytime due to the daily occurrence.
DISTURBANCE (Subject) – 6:48 p.m. – 10000 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. - Male subject punching a mailbox and newspaper stand in front of the location. The subject was found to be practicing martial arts and accidently hit the mailbox. Subject advised and will comply, left the area on foot.

April 21, 2012

DRUNK – 12:11 p.m. – 12000 block of Interior Cr. - Female taxi patrol passed out in the back of the taxi. Caller advises he can’t get her out of his taxi. Caller standing by in front of the location. Station 18 made contact with a female who said she was diabetic. OCFA responded. Female found to be drunk. Assisted.
MENTALLY ILL SUBJECT – 3:17 p.m. – 3700 block of Katella Ave. – Police requested to respond to the emergency room for a subject threatening to harm the patients and staff with a plastic food knife. Subject keeps coming in and out of his room. Subject states he’s going to have his friends come and hurt him. Subject punching the air. Checks okay.

April 22, 2012

RECKLESS DRIVER – 4:26 p.m. – Cerritos/Lexington - Eastbound on Bloomfield, a white Mitsubishi vehicle that is crashing into things. Need a tow truck to Bloomfield and Florista to assist with cleanup. Subject in custody for DUI.
EXTRA PATROL CHECK – 10:16 p.m. – 10000 block of Chestnut St. - Requesting extra patrol checks. Son was arrested yesterday and mother was trying to retrieve his property and the caller didn’t want them too. The arrestee is the caller’s baby daddy. Caller thinks that the mom has made more attempts to take the items during the night.

April 23, 2012

IDENTITY THEFT – 3:18 p.m. – 3900 block of Cerritos Ave. – Unknown subject attempted to open a bank account using the caller’s information. Checking account frozen, no loss or activity. Caller advised to put a fraud alert on three credit bureaus. Counseled.
TRAFFIC HAZARD – 7:38 p.m. – Bloomfield/Cerritos – Driver just picked up the vehicle in Cypress and the left rear wheel came off. Tow truck responded. Assisted.

April 24, 2012

COUNSELING – 3:01 p.m. – 5100 block of Howard Ave. - Caller requesting counseling regarding her neighbor who came over to her residence and threatened her. The subject is not at the location now. The male subject told the caller that her son always drives by their house and revs his engine. Other party states an ongoing problem with the male harassing his wife and daughter. Counseled.
DISTURBANCE (Family) – 10:50 p.m. – 10000 block of Lassen St. - Caller advises her daughter is being violent and that she is attempting to take the caller’s granddaughter. Loud disturbance in the background, with a baby crying. Unit has contact with the daughter. Mother/daughter verbal argument over the daughter’s child. Both parties were counseled. Child left with father and the daughter left with a friend. The mother had been drinking.

April 25, 2012

SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT – 5:02 p.m. – Farquhar/Reagan - Caller states she got a call from one of her employees stating there is a suspicious subject sitting in front of the residence. Checks okay.
TRAFFIC COLLISION – 10:14 p.m. – Farquhar/Los Alamitos - At least two vehicles involved. Paramedics requested. Airbags deployed. Five vehicles in the roadway. Two tow trucks requested. One subject arrested.
