The following information was released by Rossmoor/Los Alamitos Republican Women Federated (RLA RWF).
Wendy Grose, President of the Rossmoor/Los Alamitos Republican Women Federated announced that the Orange County Republican Women Federated bestowed the coveted Worker of the Month award to Christine Barnes at their May 2 meeting held at the Costa Mesa Golf Course.
The RLA RWF are proud to honor an outstanding Republican woman from our Club as “Worker of the Month for May.”
Christine currently is the Club’s treasurer.
At the Orange County Republican Women Federated May meeting, Joan Shapiro, Chairwoman of the Worker of the Month Committee, stated, “Christine is a fine example of a Republican, always willing to take on tasks for her Club and the Republican Party. After stepping into this role, she has never said no to anything. She straightened out our banking, helped locate entertainment for the Christmas Party, helped with Voter Registration, set up club meetings and the list goes on. You never hear her say I can’t, I don’t have time, I have done a lot, or anything other than Okay! When or where do you need me?”
Wendy Grose, President of the Rossmoor/Los Alamitos Republican Federated added, “She has been a tremendous asset to our Club and is one of our hardest workers. We just couldn’t be prouder to have our Orange County Republican Women Federated honor her at their May meeting. Chris is a great example of a Republican Woman.”
The Rossmoor/Los Alamitos Republican Women Federated is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary. The Club continues its mission of increasing the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation.
All Republican women are encouraged to join.
