The following information was released by Los Altos United Methodist Church.
Los Altos United Methodist Church choirs will present their spring musical extravaganza at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 3 at the church at 5950 East Willow Street, Long Beach.
This is the final concert of this year’s Fine Arts Series.
It will feature all of the church handbell and singing choirs. A freewill offering will be taken.
The handbell choirs will play a medley of music genre and the sanctuary choir will present renditions of several familiar Spirituals.
In addition, the children’s choir will perform the musical drama “Heroes of the Faith.”
They will take the audience on a unique field trip where Old Testament Bible heroes tell how ordinary people become extraordinary heroes who can change the world when they listen and follow God’s command.
