The Catholic and Protestant Congregations of Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base offer an open invitation to attend a service in memory of our troops who died in combat.
The chapel service will be held on Sunday, May 27, at 9:30 a.m. in the East Wing of Building 6 (Liberty Theater) at Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base, 11200 Lexington Drive in Los Alamitos.
The guest speaker will be Colonel Jon Fer USAF (Ret.), a pilot shot down over North Vietnam who spent six years as a prisoner of war.
Military personnel — active-duty, retired and reserve — are encourage to wear a uniform for this Memorial Day celebration.
