May 18, 2012

DISTURBANCE (Fight) – 12:53 a.m. – 5500 block of Lincoln Ave. – Two subjects fighting in the parking lot. Two detained. Suspicious occupied vehicle at the location. One detained. Requesting taxi. Another fight breaking out in front of the location. Both fights separated. No reports desired. All parties sent home. Bar closed.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON – 2:52 p.m. – 4900 block of Lincoln Ave. – Male subject with a cane and a jacket bought a lollipop, did not make sense when he talked and did push-ups in front of the caller’s door. Subject possibly under the influence. Checks okay.

May 19, 2012

COUNSELING – 5:18 p.m. – 6900 block of Grand Manan Dr. – Caller is moving into the location and when she was at the location with her father, a neighbor became disruptive regarding the way her father was parked. Male subject asked the caller if she was moving into the residence and when she advised yes he said, “We’ll be seeing a lot of each other.” Caller feels the subject was threatening her and wants a report.
FOUND PROPERTY – 5:32 p.m. – 6000 block of Lime Ave. - Caller found a police flashlight. The caller believes it was lost during a foot pursuit. Flashlight retrieved, item returned. Lot entry made.

May 20, 2012

COUNSELING – 12:56 a.m. – 4500 block of Middlebury Ci. - Regarding a known suspect who threatened to murder his two children earlier today. Caller counseled regarding battery statements made to him. The caller is adamant about not filing a police report. The caller is not desirous of prosecution and does not want the suspect contacted by police. Caller advised to obtain a restraining order.
DISTURBANCE (Subject) – 6:58 a.m. – 6300 block of Bataan - Female walking up and down the street yelling and holding what appears to be a toy gun. Possibly locked out by her mother and grandmother who live at the location. Female released to her mother and counseled.

May 21, 2012

WARRANT SERVICE – 4:02 p.m. – 6100 block of Lincoln Ave. – Suspicious subject on 911 from the payphone stated “If you are looking for [the female subject] she is in Room #123 as the Royal.” The female subject shows as wanted for possession of drug paraphernalia. Subject arrested.
DISTURBANCE – 6:55 p.m. – 9300 block of Moody - A subject sprayed a wasps’ nest and now the wasps are everywhere. The subject then was screaming and creating a disturbance with the kids at the park. The subject already left and the wasps are swarming. Checks okay. Unreasonable caller.

May 22, 2012

SUSPICIOUS PERSON – 12:03 a.m. – 4100 block of Avenida Sevilla - Subjects with possibly a lighter looking into a vehicle. It appears as though the subjects are burning something on the hood of the vehicle. The subjects are now gone, but left some type of property on the trunk of the vehicle. The subjects were found to have been lighting a birthday cake. Checks okay.
STAKEOUT – 5:29 p.m. – 9900 block of Valley View - Stolen vehicle at the car wash. Calling Long Beach Police Department to confirm. No car stop initiated. Vehicle confirmed stolen out of Long Beach in 2010. Vehicle was originally rented from a rental dealership in 2009 in the Long Beach area. Vehicle exiting onto Ball. Pulling into Mt. Calvary Church. Initiating car stop. Setting up an arrest team. One subject detained, vehicle not cleared. Tow truck requested. Dispatch attempting to call registered owner of the vehicle to advise of the vehicle’s status. Subject arrested for auto theft, receiving stolen property, and an outstanding warrant for auto theft.

May 23, 2012

ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON – 12:42 a.m. – Walker/Lincoln - Male seen stabbing a female in the parking lot. He is hitting a female and possibly stabbing another. The caller can see the female holding her stomach and a lot of blood. Taser deployed. One at gunpoint. Unknown what he did with the knife. Paramedics staging. Two females seen running eastbound on Lincoln. Request Station 37 (La Palma) to assist with securing the crime scene. Station 23 (Buena Park) dispatching two units. Unit still checking to see if one of the females is actually injured. Male subject arrested for resisting arrest and parole violation.
COUNSELING – 1:14 a.m. – Newman/Moody – Caller was having intercourse with a male subject when another male came into the room and switched places with the caller’s original partner. Caller left the location and walked to the station. All parties had been drinking. Report taken.
