Los Alamitos to offer summer skateboard and scooter camps

The following information was released by the City of Los Alamitos.

The City of Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services Department has something really fun and cool for kids ages 6-13 years: Skatedogs Skateboard & Scooter Camp!

Whether you’re a beginner or ready to learn more advanced tricks, this class is right for you!

Make new friends, advance your skateboard or scooter skills, and have fun in our private skate park.

Camps will be held Monday to Friday at Little Cottonwood Park, 4000 Farquhar Ave., Los Alamitos.

Sign up for one or more of the following sessions:

Skateboard:
Class Time Dates
1483-30 3:30-6:30pm 7/16-7/20
1483-31 8:30-11:30am 7/23-7/27
1483-32 8:30-11:30am 8/6-8/10
1483-33 8:30-11:30am 8/20-8/24

Scooter:
Class Time Dates
1481-30 3:30-6:30pm 7/16-7/20
1481-31 8:30-11:30am 7/23-7/27
1481-32 8:30-11:30am 8/6-8/10
1481-33 8:30-11:30am 8/20-8/24

Requirements: A signed Skatedogs waiver form, a skateboard or scooter, knee pads, elbow pads, and a helmet.

All participants will receive a Skatedogs T-shirt!

Bring a snack and plenty of water.
