June 8, 2012

MUNICIPAL CODE VIOLATION – 4:53 a.m. – 4200 block of Green Ave. - To the rear of the complex in the alley, sounds of subjects possibly cleaning out the sewer. Advised.
STRAY ANIMAL – 7:10 a.m. – Florista/Reagan - A black and white pit bull wandering in the area. The dog barked at someone who approached him. Incident referred.

June 9, 2012

HIT AND RUN – 11:27 a.m. – Katella/Siboney – The caller was hit and knocked off his motorcycle. The suspect vehicle, a beige ‘95 Cadillac, left eastbound on Katella. The victim declined medics. The caller was traveling in the #1 eastbound lane on Katella east of Siboney when a vehicle in the #2 lane struck the caller from the right side as he was merging into the left turn lane. The caller believes it was an accident. The caller declined to make a report.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON – 3:02 p.m. – 11000 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. - The caller’s wife was approached by a subject who said she would write a check for $100 if the caller’s wife would give her $10 cash. Subject was denied and the caller’s wife then left. Unable to locate.

June 10, 2012

ANIMAL NOISE – 12:38 a.m. – 3700 block of Holden Cr. – Possibly on Toland or Fenley, a dog barking like it’s going nuts or very alarmed. This is very unusual. Located the dog across the street. It appears as though someone may have attempted to toilet paper the house and was scared away by the dog. Unable to locate any suspects.
DRUNK – 2:55 a.m. – 10000 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. - A male subject loitering, not a guest. Currently in front of the office taking off his shirt. The subject acting like he wants to fight someone but no one is outside with him. Subject is trying to get into the office. Subject arrested for warrants.

June 11, 2012

CITIZEN ASSIST – 7:50 a.m. – Los Alamitos/Cerritos The caller has a female customer that wants to go to San Fernando but has no money and is refusing to get out of the cab. The caller picked her up from the city of Cerritos on South St. The cabbie spoke to the subject’s mother, who agreed to pay the fare. The cabbie agreed to drive the subject there. Matter solved.
PATROL CHECK – 8:03 a.m. – Cerritos/Humbolt - Caller states there is construction being done at the location and states there is no turn lane for eastbound Cerritos at Humbolt and causing a traffic hazard and there are no cones put out either. Construction crew will be putting out cones to make a designated lane. Matter solved.

June 12, 2012

GRAFFITI – 6:38 p.m. – 3600 block of Howard Ave. - Vandalism on a garage door off the alley. Caller contacted a resident there who will contact the management company for clean up.
COUNSELING – 9:59 p.m. – 4000 block of Howard Ave. – Caller wants to make a report due to the males threatening the caller. Assisted.

June 13, 2012

PATROL CHECK – 9:26 a.m. – 4300 block of Howard Ave. - The registrant was kicked out of the residence by sister who rents the apartment. Log entry was made.
DISTURBANCE (Family) – 7:43 p.m. – 11000 block of Bloomfield St. - Mother and son creating a disturbance across from the residence. The caller advises that the police have responded regarding the same for the subjects. Officers contacted the mother and son. They were in a verbal disagreement over a phone charger. Both parties counseled.
