June 14, 2012

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – 2:22 p.m. – 4300 block of Green Ave. – The subject hit the caller and choked her. The caller’s daughter was in her arms. The subject is the caller’s fiance. Subject arrested for domestic violence.
UNKNOWN TROUBLE – 11:21 p.m. – 4300 block of Howard Ave. - Caller states a female is yelling that someone is hurting her. Female heard saying “help”. Third caller from Green says teh female is possibly drunk. Another caller on Howard states there is a disturbance outside with multiple subjects and the female screaming. Unit out with approximately 15 subjects. Female subject arrested for public intoxication.

June 15, 2012

COUNSELING – 9:16 a.m. – 4200 block of Howard Ave. - The caller is extremely irate and dissatisfied regarding a noise disturbance from a guy on a scooter. The scooter is not at the location right now. The caller is insisting on the police bringing out a sound monitoring device to cite the subject for noise ordinance violation. The caller was extensively counseled by Dispatch and insists on an officer responding. Requesting police patrol check for a 35 year old male, heavy set, on a scooter at all hours and request a check on noise ordinance and licensing of the scooter. Counseled.
MUNICIPAL CODE VIOLATION – 10:54 p.m. – 3800 block of Howard Ave. - West of the caller, on the northeast corner of Howard and Maple, a loud saw. The unit reports that all is quiet. The officer spoke to neighbors in the alley barbecuing and they state they have no heard a saw and they have been outside for the past few hours.

June 16, 2012

PATROL CHECK – 12:22 p.m. – Saratoga/Howard - White BMW, occupied by a male subject possibly selling drugs. The caller was in the area waiting to pick up his daughter and observed the subject for about ten minutes as subjects approached the vehicle and possibly saw hand to hand exchanges. The subject was gone on arrival.
TRAFFIC STOP – 10:37 p.m. – Katella/Walnut - Conducting field sobriety tests. Male subject arrested for DUI. The vehicle was released to friends at the scene. The suspect refused all evidentiary tests.

June 17, 2012

DISTURBANCE (Family) – 3:38 p.m. – 3900 block of Howard - The caller’s sister is threatening to evict the caller. The female half asked the caller to call the police. The mother is also at the location. The caller was on a hunger strike until a couple days ago when the sister asked him to come back home. Officer reports a disturbance between sister and brother. The brother left for the evening. Assisted.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE – 10:12 p.m. – 11000 block of Winners Cr. - Orange/red van parked in the industrial complex directly to the right of the caller’s residence. There was a subject seen at the van but the caller could not tell if it was male or female. Units checking Winners Circle. Out with a female. Conducting a vehicle search. Female subject arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and municipal code violations. The vehicle was stored. The license was taken off the vehicle

June 18, 2012

GRAND THEFT REPORT – 11:50 a.m. – 10000 block of Kyle St. – Unknown subjects taken scrap metal from the yard, possibly by jumping over the fence. No report desired. The caller requested extra patrol checks on nights. He was advised of security cameras, which he already purchased prior to the officer’s arrival. The caller will call back if the security cameras pick up a possible suspect.
DISTURBANCE (Subject) – 12:33 p.m. – 3800 block of Katella Ave. - A patient is creating a disturbance and almost hit a technician. The patient was upset because his dialysis machine stopped. An officer spoke with the victim and advised that he would contact the suspect and speak with him. The victim requested extra patrol checks at approximately 6:00 p.m. No report desired.

June 19, 2012

VANDALISM REPORT – 2:28 p.m. – 3800 block of Katella Ave. – Property taken in the last couple of weeks, possibly for scrap metal. No report desired.
ABANDONED VEHICLE – 8:54 p.m. – 10000 block of Sierra Cr. - A blue Dodge parked in front of the location for the last four days. Unknown who the vehicle belongs to. Contacted the registered owner’s wife and she will move the vehicle. She confirmed that it had been parked there since last Friday. Advised.

June 20, 2012

SUSPICIOUS PERSON – 3:48 a.m. – 3500 block of Green Ave. – Subjects got out of a green truck with a construction work box and are looking around at garages and vehicles. All the subjects are scrambling and ducking. One subject is using a cell phone as a flashlight. Two of the other subjects are hiding in the dumpster area. Units out with one subject, requesting third unit. All three subjects detained. Two male and one female subject arrested for prowling. One of the male subjects was also in custody for receiving stolen property and being under the influence of a controlled substance. The other male subject was also arrested for violation of parole. The vehicle was impounded.
EXTRA PATROL CHECK – 9:27 p.m. – 11000 block of Harrisburg Rd. – The caller fired her gardener who caused damages on her property. THe subject stated he wanted to come to the residence to look at the damage caused. THe subject was not threatening, just wanted to see the damages.

June 21, 2012

CITIZEN ASSIST – 7:52 a.m. – 3500 block of Cerritos Ave. - The caller’s iPad fell off her vehicle at Cerritos/Los Alamitos Blvd. this morning and she went back and it was gone. She tracked it to the location and requests a unit to assist her in retrieving it. The iPad was located and returned to the owner.
COUNSELING – 10:44 a.m. – 5000 block of Katella Ave. - The caller states a female transient has been at the location for several days now. The caller states the female walks into the businesses in the area and is bothering the tenants. The female is refusing to leave the property. The female is gone now. The caller is willing to sign regarding trespassing and will call back when the subject returns. Counseled.
