Traffic entering and leaving Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base for the Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular may be heavy.

To help avoid unnecessary (and annoying) congestion, Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base will open its side gate on Orangewood Ave. off of Los Alamitos Blvd. to allow traffic to enter and leave through through that second gate as well as the main gate at the south end of Lexington Dr. off of Katella Ave.

Both gates open at 4 p.m. on July 4.

Pedestrians will not be allowed to walk in or out using the Orangewood gate. If you want to walk to the show, use the main gate on Lexington Dr.
