The following information was released by the Rossmoor Homeowners Association.
On Saturday, July 14, at the Oak Middle School athletic field, the American Cancer society will conduct a Relay for Life as part of its “Fight Back” program against cancer.
The opening ceremony is at 9 a.m. The first lap, used to celebrate cancer survivors and honor caregivers, begins at 10 a.m.
There are activities for kids, a silent auction, food, and at 9 p.m. a luminaria program to honor friends and relatives lost to cancer. A wealth of cancer information booklets will be available.
