EXTRA PATROL CHECK – 12:33 p.m. – 11400 block of Wadham Wy. - The caller is requesting extra patrol checks. The house is in foreclosure and the caller caught subjects in the residence last night and called the police but the subjects were gone when the police got there. The caller found a posting on a Facebook group site (Occupy Foreclosure of Occupy Orange County) advertising this residence and telling people to bring their stuff and “occupy” the residence. The caller requests extra patrol checks during day and night hours.
PETTY THEFT REPORT – 9:18 p.m. – 4000 block of Ball Rd. - Station 37 (La Palma) transferred a caller to Station 23 (Buena Park) from a witness who observed subjects take black slippers and followed the suspect vehicle. The manager of the business was called to confirm a crime. The manager advises that there has been a theft and that he found the tag near the beer display. The suspect was detained and will be en route back to the business. The caller does not want prosecution as the items were returned. The manager is non-desirous of prosecution and report. The loss was a pair of black slippers valued at $11. The slippers were returned and the suspect was advised about trespassing. The suspect was counseled and released from the scene.

WELFARE CHECK – 6:33 a.m. – 5600 block of Lincoln Ave. - Regarding husband not opening the door, the caller is worried something happened to him. The husband has no known medical problems, however he likes to drink per the caller. The caller said the manager won’t open the door without the police. Welfare check unfounded. The caller wanted to see if her boyfriend was cheating.
COUNSELING – 5:03 p.m. – 5100 block of Belle Ave. – Subjects set off fireworks in their own backyard and threw the casing into the caller’s yard. The caller is upset they are exciting her dogs. Unable to confirm the source of the firework. The owner was advised of firework codes and codes related to parties. Party advised and will comply.

VANDALISM – 12:51 a.m. – 4300 block of Lincoln Ave. - Two male subjects were breaking things outside of the business. The broke a concrete trash container and threw another one into the street. They are in the company of a female subject and another male. Now they are speaking with a bouncer who states that the subjects were 86’d because they broke a pool stick inside the business. One male subject arrested for public intoxication.
COUNSELING – 10:31 a.m. – 5700 block of Karen Ave. - Contact the reporting party who feels she is being harassed by neighbors. She had a garage sale yesterday and now her signs for sale are missing. No crime. Counseling was provided on Cypress municipal codes regarding garage sales.

DRUNK – 4:47 a.m. – 6100 block of Lincoln Ave. - The subject is naked outside of his room and possibly drunk. The caller has advised him to return to his room but he is refusing. A second caller advises that the male is telling her he has bugs all over him. He has no weapons, just completely naked. Another caller advises the subject is yelling for help. Have contact with the subject through the door, possibly on PCP. Units have the subject detained. Paramedics requested. Medical aid handled by Station 91. Subject possible overdosed on stimulants and heavy medications. Not oriented to place and time. Handcuffed for medical safety and transported to the emergency room without incident. Handcuffs removed without incident. Assisted.
POSSIBLE DUI – 4:43 p.m. – Ball/Walker - A white SUV is driving erratically and speeding. The vehicle was in the center divider. Unknown if the driver is drunk or just driving recklessly. The unit determined the driver is just excited and slightly distracted. The driver says he will pay closer attention to his driving. Negative on DUI.

COUNSELING – 12:50 a.m. – 5000 block of Canterbury Dr. - The caller’s residence was toilet papered. No permanent damage but the caller wants officers to respond anyway. Four male Hispanics TP’d the residence on Monday and Saturday nights (four times in the last three weeks). No damage. Video camera at the house, but not able to identify the subjects. Extra patrols conducted all night. Counseled.
KEEP THE PEACE – 11:41 a.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – Regarding property that the first subject had borrowed from the second subject. The first subject was counseled and agreed that he had borrowed it and not returned it. Assisted.

COUNSELING – 10:12 a.m. – 8100 block of Gay - Contact the caller regarding suspicious things that have been happening at her at her residence. A few months ago an unknown suspect tampered with her brakes. Now she has hand plants pulled out of the front of her planter. Counseled.
COUNSELING – 1:35 p.m. – 6100 block of Ball Rd. - A subject came into the church and was talking with the caller and stated he murdered a police officer. The suspicious subject came in the children’s area of the church claiming to be a messenger of God. The reporting party was advised to call the police if the subject returns and also discussed safety measures for the children’s area.
