Los Alamitos Unified School District Board approves acceptance of July donations

The following information was released by the Los Alamitos Unified School District.

Acceptance of the following individual donations was unanimously approved at the July 10 board meeting:

  • $25,000.00 from J.H. McGaugh PTA for McGaugh Elementary School
  • $1,000.00 from J.H. McGaugh PTA for McGaugh Elementary School
  • $5,000.00 from Schools First Federal Credit Union for Los Alamitos Unified School District
  • $300.00 from Material Recovery and Recycling, Inc. for Rossmoor Elementary School
  • $50.00 from Katalin Szeker-Somogyi and Andras Somogyi for Los Alamitos Unified School District’s Kids Korner
  • $4,018.29 from Lee elementary School PTA for Lee elementary School
  • $3,105.62 from Friends of Rossmoor School for Rossmoor elenetary School
  • $1,639.98 from Edison International for McAuliffe Middle School
  • $250.00 from Wells Fargo Foundation Educational Matching Gift Program for Oak Middle School
  • $4,449.37 from Jack L. Weaver PTA for Weaver Elementary School
  • 500.00 from Keenan & Associates for Los Alamitos Unified School District Leadership Advance
  • $500.00 from Benefit & Risk Management Services, Inc. for Los Alamitos Unified School District Leadership Advance
  • $250.00 from BB&T Branch Banking and Trust Company for Los Alamitos Unified School District Leadership Advance
  • $696.00 from Lifetouch National School Studios for Weaver Elementary School
  • $350.00 (combined total) from Edison International for Lee Elementary School
  • $1,500.00 from George K. Baum & Company for Los Alamitos Unified School District Leadership Advance

  • Eight (8) HP CPU, keyboards, cables and mice; three (3) Lexmark printers; and three (3) computer flat panel monitors from Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) for Oak Middle School

Total monetary donations for the month of July: $71,159.26.
