Summer gymnastics classes starting next week

The following information was released by the City of Seal Beach. Emphasis added.

“Mini-Gym” is an introduction to gymnastic fundamentals for ages 2 to 4 years, developing motor skills to serve as a prelude for future tumblers. Parent participation required. Class is 3 to 3:30 p.m.

“Pre-School Gymnastics” for ages 4 to 6 years is structured to introduce floor work such as bridge, cartwheels, frog stands and more while improving strength, balance and skills. Class is held 3:30 to 4 p.m.

“Gymnastics Level 1” is a focused gymnastic class for ages 6 to 10 years, working on developing strength for more advanced skills. Gymnasts will learn the proper and safe way to execute tumbling, while increasing confidence and coordination. Class is held 4 to 4:45 p.m.

These three classes are held on Tuesdays, July 17 through August 21 at the Marina Community Center, located at 151 Marina Drive. No class on 7/24.
