The Cypress Toastmasters Something Gained Club will hold its monthly meeting at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 14 at the Cypress Library. Whether you are just entering the job market, looking for a new position, have your sights on a promotion, or English is your second language, having that something extra like good communication skills can make the difference.
Communication is critical to living life to the fullest. Yet that’s not always easy to do when you hesitate to join in the conversation. You might be shy, have a hearing loss, limited vision, stutter, or just be scared to speak in front of others, to name a few inhibitors. Whatever your challenge, don’t let your something hold you back from achieving success.
