The following information was released by the Rotary Club of Los Alamitos/Seal Beach.

During it’s recent Demotion Dinner, the Rotary Club of Los Alamitos/Seal Beach used the celebration’s theme of “Oh, The Place’s You’ll Go” to recognize the year’s achievements under President Patricia Eskenazi.

The new President, Perry Apostle, received the gavel from Eskenazi as he begins his new year. During the meeting as part of the theme, Dr. Seuss books were presented for donation to a local learning program, THINK Together.

Rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and around the globe. The 1.2 million Rotarians who make up more than 34,000 Rotary clubs in nearly every country in the world share a dedication to the ideal of Service Above Self. Find out more about the local Rotary club at www.losalrotary.org

THINK Together is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves more than 100,000 students a year through 400-plus program sites located in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Sacramento counties. Visit the organization online at www.thinktogether.org.
