An earthquake measuring 5.1 in magnitude occurred 75 miles west-southwest of Eureka this evening, Friday, July 20, 2012, at 6:51:59 p.m. PDT.
The NOAA/NWS/West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center does not expect a tsunami to be generated by this earthquake.
