West Orange County Connector road closures for Sunday, July 22, through Saturday, July 28

The following information was released by the Orange County Transportation Authority.

Roadway closures will be needed due to minor demolition activities in the center of the I-405 freeway, temporary light installation along the I-405 between Valley View St. and Seal Beach Blvd., roady way striping, excavation and paving activities.

Freeway closures

Northbound I-405 freeway from Valley View St. to Seal Beach Blvd. will be closed from midnight to 5 a.m. nightly on Sunday, July 22, through Tuesday, July 24.

Southbound I-405 freeway from the I-605 to Seal Beach Blvd. will be closed from midnight to 5 a.m. on Monday, June 23, as well as on Wednesday, June 25, and Thursday, June 26.

Southbound I-405 freeway from Seal Beach Blvd. to SR-22 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, July 25 and 26.

Road closures

Valley View St. from Tiffany Ave. to Old Bolsa Chica Rd. will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, July 25 and 26.

Garden Grove Blvd. from Valley View St. to the northbound I-405 Valley View St. off-ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, July 25 and 26.

Connector closures

The following connectors will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Sunday, July 22, through Saturday, July 28.

  • Southbound I-405 to northbound I-605
  • Eastbound SR-22 to northbound I-405/northbound I-605
  • Westbound SR-22 to northbound I-405
  • Northbound I-405 to northbound I-605
  • Southbound I-605 to southbound I-405
  • Southbound I-405 to eastbound SR-22
  • Southbound I-605 to northbound I-405
  • Eastbound SR-22 to southbound I-405

Ramp closures

The following ramps will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Sunday, July 22, through Saturday, July 28.

  • Westbound SR-22 Valley View St. loop and straight on-ramp
  • Northbound I-405 Seal Beach Blvd. on-ramp
  • Northbound I-405 Seal Beach Blvd. on-ramp
  • Eastbound SR-22 Valley View St. off-ramp
