Cypress Police Department to hold National Night Out

The following information was released by the Cypress Police Department.

The Cypress Police Department will host National Night Out 2012 Police-Community Partnerships on Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Veteran’s Park on the northeast corner of Ball Rd. and Denni St. in Cypress.

In recognition of America’s Night Out Against Crime, the Cypress Police Department invites the public to join them in making our neighborhoods safe by turning on your porch light.

Scheduled activities at the event:

  • Police K-9 demonstration;
  • Community Services information table;
  • Motor officers;
  • SWAT Team and van;
  • Orange County Fire Authority;
  • Cypress Parks & Recreation information table.

Free refreshments will be provided by Target.
