July 20, 2012

DISTURBANCE (Family) – 6:29 p.m. – 11000 block of Maple St. - The caller’s son is refusing to go with his mother per a court order. The son is 15 years old. The mother is attempting to leave. The female half is now stating that the juvenile is not refusing to go, he is just upset over not being able to get a phone. Son is now going with his mother per the court order. Both parents counseled. The son is very manipulative, using a disturbance over the phone.
INJURED ANIMAL – 7:44 p.m. – Los Alamitos/Orangewood – A dog was hit and injured in the intersection. Message delivered to Animal Control. The animal was removed by the owner. Assisted.

July 21, 2012

ASSIST OTHER AGENCY – 2:48 a.m. – 11000 block of Oak St. - Attempt to contact two subjects. Station 36 (Cypress) units have other subjects stopped with drivers licenses and credit cards belonging to them.
DISTURBANCE (Subject) – 9:24 p.m. – 11000 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. - The subject was inside the location with a Batman mask scaring customers. He keeps walking in and out of the location, talking to himself and possibly mentally disturbed. The unit conducted a field interview of the subject.

July 22, 2012

SUSPICIOUS PERSON – 6:08 p.m. – 4000 block of Katella Ave. - A male subject was walking around the industrial park and is now laying on the grass in the park. The caller is concerned due to recent thefts. The subject checked okay. He was wandering around listening to his iPod. He was too lazy to walk around the business park to get to Laurel Park, so he jumped the fence.
BURGLARY ALARM – 8:37 p.m. – 11000 block of Via El Mercado - Unit out with the cleaning crew. The emergency contact said he forgot to give the alarm code to the cleaning crew. The cleaning crew checks okay. The emergency contact arrived to shut off the alarm.

July 23, 2012

MENTALLY ILL SUBJECT – 12:41 a.m. – 11000 block of Lexington Dr. - At the front gate, a mentally ill subject carrying two brown paper bags with alcohol, incoherent and screaming and sounding garbled. The subject was arrested for public intoxication.
WATER PROBLEM – 6:28 a.m. – 10000 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. - The reporting party states there is possibly a water main break in the sidewalk. Water is coming from a pipe near the gutter. This is possibly related to another incident – a driver has water piping in his vehicle that appears to have just been removed from a water system. Two subjects in custody. Subjects arrested for grand theft, receiving stolen property, and vandalism.
July 24, 2012

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES – 3:12 a.m. – 10000 block of Kings St. – The caller just heard someone try to open her front door. The caller is home alone. All of her doors are locked. The caller is upstairs in her bathroom. She is not expecting anyone. The caller states her door squeaks when it opens and it sounded like it was being opened. The responding officers checked the perimeter; checks okay.
ASSIST OUTSIDE AGENCY – 5:35 p.m. – Harbor/Broadway - Potentially riotous situation declared in Anaheim. Subjects throwing items at citizens. Unlawful assembly declared. The crowd has filled up water bottles with gasoline. The gas station has stopped selling gas. One Los Alamitos unit was kicked and has a small dent. Other units in her caravan had windows smashed.

July 25, 2012

POLICE INFORMATION – 7:43 a.m. – 10000 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. – The caller’s daughter was working at the business yesterday and a suspicious subject came in asking for money and claiming he knew the caller’s mother who owns the business. The daughter called the mother and she talked to the subject and she doesn’t know who this person is.
COUNSELING – 9:39 p.m. – 11000 block of Bennington St. – The caller requests extra patrol checks throughout the night hours for subjects syphoning gas from vehicles. The caller states this happened to his car on Monday night. The caller also requests counseling.

July 26, 2012

COUNSELING – 3:27 p.m. – 11000 block of Interior Cr. – The caller is requesting counseling on her child’s father threatening her with a gun one year ago and the father’s new girlfriend taunting her six year old son. The caller is upset over her ex’s girlfriend telling her son if he doesn’t behave leprechauns will hurt him and pull him into the pool. She also tells the boy other things to scare him at night. The boy’s father knows she does this and does not care. Advise Child Protective Services.
DUI – 5:05 p.m. – 605 Fwy/Katella – A driver threw a Bud Light can out of the window at Los Alamitos Blvd. The subject is weaving in and out of lanes. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
