Rotary Club sponsors Twenty-first Annual Seal Beach Fishing Derby

Seal Beach Pier fishermen

The following information was released by the Rotary Club of Los Alamitos/Seal Beach.

The Rotary Club of Los Alamitos/Seal Beach are inviting youths up to fifteen years old to compete in the Twenty-First Annual Seal Beach Fishing Derby on the Pier on Saturday, August 25, at Seal Beach Pier. Registration is from 7 am until 9 am, with the tournament running from 7:30 am until 12 noon. Bring your own rood and reel or borrow one for this catch, weigh and release tournament.

This event features free refreshments for the participants, as well as great trophies and prizes for the largest fish caught. Bait is provided and the registration is free.

See you on the pier!
