CITIZEN ASSIST – 4:16 p.m. – 4300 block of Howard Ave. - Behind the location in the alley, a female subject driving a GMC Jimmy appears to have hit the block wall and put a hole in it. The caller passed her and asked if she was okay. The female said yes and admitted to hitting the wall. Public Works requested to respond for clean up.
FORGERY – 4:33 p.m. – 5000 block of Katella Ave. - A male and female subject are attempting to cash a check on a closed account. The business had fraud on their account and closed it two years ago. The subjects were found to be possible victims of an online scam.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON – 11:42 a.m. – 3000 block of Katella Ave. - The caller reports a suspicious person walking around in the parking lot of the location. The subject was found to be a computer programmer waiting for a client for a meeting.
KEEP THE PEACE – 11:02 p.m. – 3000 block of Howard Ave. - The ex-boyfriend was kicked out of the apartment two months ago. The caller was told that he returned today and kicked the door in and is still inside. The caller claims he did not establish residency there before being told to leave. Counseled.

BURGLARY ALARM – 3:21 a.m. – 10000 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. – The alarm company unsuccessfully already tried to reach an emergency contact. The police called the owner in Palm Springs. Broken glass found to the front of the location. K-9 unit requested. The interior checked okay. The alarm company called in regarding additional activations. Entry was made, but no loss per the owner. Report taken.
DUI – 7:11 p.m. – Katella/Walker - The caller reports a male driver drinking a beer. The subject was found to be negative on DUI. He had been drinking and his wife was driving him home. Advised.

DISTURBANCE (Noise) – 1:53 p.m. – 3900 block of Howard Ave. - The caller states her neighbors are stomping on the floor and waking her up. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.
DISTURBANCE – 2:41 p.m. – Howard/Saratoga - Subjects arguing. Two female outside the vehicle and a male subject inside. An incident report was taken for documentation purposes. Verbal argument between boyfriend/girlfriend regarding the boyfriend cheating with his ex-wife. Property confiscated and booked for evidence/safekeeping.

EXTRA PATROL CHECK – 11:36 a.m. – 3900 block of Howard Ave. - The caller’s property was stolen recently and she continues to receive suspicious phone calls. She thinks the thieves are calling her to see if she is home to case for a burglary. Checks okay.
COUNSELING – 5:38 p.m. – 3600 block of Howard Ave. - The caller found a recording device by her shower window and believes her ex-husband is recording her conversations. Counseled.
August 1, 2012
BURGLARY – 1:57 p.m. – 10000 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. - The female suspect is still in the store. The suspect possibly removed the security device from clothing and the caller found it in a dressing room. The suspect has been on her cell phone and has been in the store for at least 30 minutes. Security sensors activated when she was near the front of the store a few minutes ago. The female subject was arrested on two outstanding drug warrants and additional charges of burglary and possession of burglary tools.
DISTURBANCE (Subject) – 9:31 p.m. – 12000 block of Paseo Bonita - A subject is walking down the street, yelling and possibly drunk. A second caller states the subject is now trying to get into the front door. The subject is stating he has the key for the room he rented. The subject appears to be suffering from a mental illness rather than drunk per the second caller. The subject fell in the neighbor’s yard. The subject was arrested for public intoxication.

DRUNK – 5:33 a.m. – 3700 block of Katella Ave. - The subject drove himself to the ER and is drunk. He is cooperative so far. The ER doctor was counseled on when the subject leaves if he is still drunk the police will respond and advise.
INCIDENT REPORT – 3:11 p.m. – 11000 block of Lexington Dr. - An unknown subject called the reporting party twenty minutes prior and stated he was calling from the Attorney General’s Office trying to track down one of the RP’s officers. The RP called to confirm with the Attorney General’s Office and the subject does not work with them. Report taken.
