ASSIST OUTSIDE AGENCY – 12:15 p.m. – 5700 block of Danny Ave. - The caller requests a welfare check on a child and living conditions. The caller was notified by LA County Social Services that a female subject and her daughter were present during a search warrant of a residence in Long Beach. The home was in an unsafe/hazardous condition. The mother has a history of abuse and attempted suicide by cutting and drugs. The resident from the Long Beach warrant service had gang affiliations and was arrested for drugs and weapons. Cypress officers were unable to locate the female and her daughter. Per a male subject that was staying at the residence, the female and her daughter are staying but left a short time earlier. The residence checks okay and appears in clean and orderly fashion.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF – 8:50 p.m. – 8800 block of Watson - Malicious mischief in the back lot of the location. Subjects cut the fence to gain access and are tagging the wall of the Public Works building. The subjects set off fire extinguishers and tagged at least one of the vehicles. The caller is hiding in the lot and says this is an ongoing issue and was waiting in the location because he saw suspicious subjects go by an hour ago. With assistance from Station 37 (La Palma), officers arrested two subjects for trespassing and vandalism. Juvenile subjects were released to their mother.

COUNSELING – 5:27 p.m. – 5100 block of Edgemont Ci. - The caller has a restraining order against a male neighbor. The court order states that he has to take down the cameras that he has pointing at the caller’s pool, backyard, back door, and patio door, and the subject still has not done so and the caller is upset. The caller has proof of service, however there is no specific order to remove the mounted cameras. This does not fit the request for violation of court order and the caller was advised to return to court for an amendment. Counseled.
POLICE INFORMATION – 10:06 p.m. – 4900 block of Lemon Ave. - The incident occurred at 9:00 p.m. on the bike path along the San Gabriel River north of Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach. An unknown subject put large boulders on the bike path and the caller thinks it was an intentional act to get someone to hurt themselves. The caller was counseled on jurisdiction and what he could do in the future if it happens again.

VEHICLE BURGLARY – 4:53 a.m. – 4300 block of Casa Grande Ci. - Two subjects were in the complex trying door handles and possibly got into one vehicle. Two subjects detained by officers. One subject arrested for possession of burglary tools.
COUNSELING – 6:55 p.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield - The reporting party is attempting to report her vehicle as stolen, but it was towed earlier today by Whittier Police Department for obstructing traffic. Per the lieutenant, the vehicle was put on fire with an accelerant and was destroyed.

UNKNOWN TROUBLE – 12:16 a.m. – 9600 block of Graham - A male subject is locked in the bathroom and is not answering, possibly injured. Paramedics dispatched. Units forced entry and made contact with the subject. Suicide attempt unfounded. The subject fell asleep in the bathtub. Per the caller’s request, forced entry was made, causing damage to the bathroom door frame. The caller was advised that he will be responsible for repair.
ASSIST OUTSIDE AGENCY – 4:26 p.m. – Marion/Walker – California Highway Patrol in pursuit of a vehicle involved in a hit and run. La Palma Police also in pursuit. Los Alamitos Police eastbound Karen from Walker. CHP has an airship overhead. Attempting PIT maneuver at Marion and Walker. Suspect ramming a CHP unit. Shots fired. Smashing windows to get the suspect driver out of the vehicle. Units watch for crossfire. CHP getting the suspect into custody now. Cypress Police units requested to shut down traffic on Walker between Myra and Cerritos in both directions. Paramedics dispatched. Media is at the location. Volunteers in Policing at the location for traffic control. Blood technician requested to La Palma Intercommunity Hospital. Vehicle towed. Riverside Sheriff’s Office to respond to the grandfather’s residence to take a stolen vehicle report.

TRESPASSING – 12:15 a.m. – 5600 block of Vonnie Ln. - A known female subject is in the caller’s yard and is not welcome. The caller stated she was trespassing after being advised regarding this on April 11 and wished to place her under arrest for the same per private person’s arrest if the subject was located. The subject was gone prior to officers’ arrival. Report taken.
DISTURBANCE (Subject) – 12:32 a.m. – 9000 block of Holder – An ongoing problem with the resident who is drunk and banging on her ceiling, creating noise. The disturbing party counseled. The female subject will comply and stay the night with a friend. The reporting party was counseled regarding misuse of the 911 system for non-emergency calls for service. Matter solved.

COUNSELING – 12:46 p.m. – 5700 block of Orange Ave. - A male juvenile reporting that his father chased him with a knife. An officer spoke to the child, who admitted it was a dare. Counseled.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON – 6:51 p.m. – Holder/Orangewood - A male subject with a kite is flipping vehicles off as they drive by. The subject was gone on officer’s arrival.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON – 9:26 a.m. – 5900 block of Corporate Dr. - A male subject inside the business possibly making fake IDs. Per the caller, the subject had a California Driver’s License but it was blank blue where the photo is supposed to be and now he is doing something on the computer. One subject arrested.
COUNSELING – 12:57 p.m. – 5500 block of Marchella Ave. – The caller is requesting to speak with an officer regarding suspicious phone calls she received around her daughter’s death. The caller states she received one phone call where the caller said “Kill her” prior to her daughter’s passing and then one after where the caller said “Life is good.” Counseled.
