West County Connectors Mid-Week Update – Nighttime Closures Aug. 9-12, 2012

The following information was released by Orange County Transportation Authority.

The SB I-605 / SB I-405 connector will reopen by 7 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11. After working around the clock for the last 12 days crews will be reopening the connector to commuters three days ahead of schedule.

Thursday night, Aug. 9

SB I-605 to the SB I-405 Connector

SB I-405 Freeway between Seal Beach Blvd. and Bolsa Chica Rd. (Closed from midnight, Thursday, Aug. 9 to 5 a.m., Friday, Aug. 10)
DETOUR: From the SB I-405 exit Seal Beach Blvd. and turn left, proceed south and turn left on Westminster Ave., continue east to access the SB I-405 freeway on-ramp or turn left on Bolsa Chica Rd, then right on Garden Grove Blvd. to access the EB SR-22 freeway on-ramp

SB I-405 to EB SR-22 Connector (Closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: From the SB I-405 exit Studebaker Rd. (stay in the right lane) and proceed south, turn left on Westminster Ave. and continue east to access the SB I-405 freeway on-ramp or turn left on Bolsa Chica Rd., then right on Garden Grove Blvd. to access the EB SR-22 freeway on-ramp

SB I-405 Bolsa Chica Rd. On-Ramp (Closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: From Bolsa Chica Rd. turn left on Westminster Ave. and proceed east to access the SB I-405 freeway on-ramp

NB I-405 to NB I-605 Connector (Closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: From the NB I-405 exit Seal Beach Blvd. and turn right, proceed north on Seal Beach Blvd. / Los Alamitos Blvd., then turn left on Katella to access the NB I-605 freeway on-ramp

EB SR-22 to NB I-405 / NB I-605 Connector (Closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: From the eastbound SR-22 take the Studebaker Rd. exit and turn right, continue north on Studebaker Rd. to access the NB I-405 freeway on-ramp OR continue north on Studebaker Rd. and turn right on Willow St. to access the NB I-605 freeway on-ramp

EB SR-22 Studebaker Rd. On-Ramp (Closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: From Studebaker Rd. proceed south and turn left on Westminster Ave., continue east on Westminster Ave. to access the SB I-405 freeway on-ramp OR turn left on Bolsa Chica Rd., then turn right on Garden Grove Blvd. to access the EB SR-22 freeway on-ramp

Friday night, Aug. 10

SB I-605 to the SB I-405 Connector (Connector will reopen by 7 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11)
