Two appointed incumbent Cypress School Board members face opposition for election

The following information came from the candidate filing log kept by the Orange County Registrar of Voters.

Editor’s note: I apologize for not including the link to candidate statements for incumbents Brian Nakamura and Candi Kern earlier. Those links have not been added below.

According to the candidate filing log kept by the Orange County Registrar of Voters, two appointed incumbent board members will face opponents to keep their seats in the November general election.

Brian Nakamura was appointed in August 2010 to serve out the remainder of the term of Donna McDougall. His candidate statement (pdf) is available on the Registrar’s website.

Candi Kern was appointed in June 2012 to serve out the remainder of the term of Donna Erickson. Her candidate statement (pdf) is available on the Registrar’s website.

Jimmy Fuller is a student. His candidate statement (pdf) is available on the Registrar’s website.

Alexandria Coronado is a small business owner. Her candidate statement (pdf) is also available on the Registrar’s website.
