West Orange County Connector Project nighttime closures August 15 through August 18

The following information was released by Orange County Transportation Authority.

Full freeway closures

SB I-405 Freeway between Seal Beach Blvd. and Bolsa Chica Rd. (Closed nightly, Wednesday, Aug. 15 through Saturday, Aug. 18, between midnight and 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: From the SB I-405 exit Studebaker Rd. (stay in the right lane) and proceed south, turn left on Westminster Ave., continue east on Westminster Ave. to access the SB I-405 freeway on-ramp OR turn left on Bolsa Chica Rd., then turn right on Garden Grove Blvd. to acCess the EB SR-22 freeway on-ramp

Road closures

Seal Beach Blvd. between Old Ranch Pkwy. and North Gate Rd. (Closed nightly, Wednesday, Aug. 15 through Saturday, Aug. 18, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: Motorists will be directed to use Valley View St. or Studebaker Rd. in order to bypass Seal Beach Blvd.

Connector closures

NB I-405 to NB I-605 Connector (Closed Wednesday night, Aug. 15 and Thursday, night, Aug. 16, between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: From the NB I-405 exit Valley View St. (turn left on Garden Grove Blvd. then right on Valley View St.), proceed north on Valley View St., turn left on Lampson Ave., turn right on Seal Beach Blvd., then turn left on Katella Ave. to access the NB I-605 freeway on-ramp

SB I-605 to the SB I-405 Connector (Closed Wednesday night, Aug. 15, between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: From the southbound I-605 exit Willow St. and turn right, turn left on Studebaker Rd. and proceed south, turn right on 2nd St. / Westminster Ave., continue east on Westminster Ave. to access the SB I-405 freeway on-ramp

EB SR-22 to NB I-405 / NB I-605 Connector (Closed Wednesday night, Aug. 15 and Thursday night, Aug. 16, between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: From the eastbound SR-22 take the Studebaker Rd. exit and turn right, continue north on Studebaker Rd. to access the NB I-405 freeway on-ramp OR continue north on Studebaker Rd. and turn right on Willow St. to access the NB I-605 freeway on-ramp

Ramp closures

SB I-405 Bolsa Chica Rd. On-Ramp (Closed Wednesday night, Aug. 15, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: From Bolsa Chica Rd. proceed south and turn left on Westminster Ave., continue east to access the SB I-405 freeway on-ramp

WB SR-22 Valley View St. On-Ramps (Closed nightly, Monday, Aug. 13 through Thursday, Aug. 16, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: From Valley View St. proceed north, turn left on Katella Ave. and continue west to access the NB I-605 freeway on-ramp OR continue west on Katella Ave. / Willow St., turn left on Palo Verde Ave. and proceed south to access the NB I-405 freeway on-ramp

NB I-405 Seal Beach Blvd. On-Ramp (Closed nightly, Wednesday, Aug. 15 through Saturday, Aug. 18, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: From Seal Beach Blvd. / Los Alamitos Blvd. proceed north, turn left on Katella Ave., then turn left on Palo Verde Ave. to access the NB I-405 freeway on-ramp

NB I-405 Seal Beach Blvd. Off-Ramp (Closed nightly, Wednesday, Aug. 15 through Saturday, Aug. 18, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.)
DETOUR: From the NB I-405 freeway exit Valley View St. (turn left on Garden Grove Blvd. then right on Valley View St.), proceed north on Valley View St., then turn left on Lampson Ave. and continue west to Seal Beach Blvd.
