The following information was released by Girl Scout Troop 1447 of the Girl Scouts of America.

Any old electronics cluttering up your house or garage? Girl Scout Troop 1447 and All Green Electronics Recycling have teamed up to help you get rid of them responsibly – absolutely free of charge! The items collected for the e-waste drive include all types of electronics, such as computers, printers, laptops, monitors, ink & toner cartridges, TVs, remotes, stereos/speakers, radios, telephones, cell phones, cords/chargers, CD/DVD players, iPods, mP3 players, and game consoles. The event will also feature an Environmental Awareness Fair, with crafts and informational booths on why you should recycle paper, glass, plastic, electronic devices, and a special booth on water awareness.

The fair and collection drive will be held at Arnold Elementary School at 9281 Denni Street in Cypress on Saturday, August 25 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Please come and support the Girl Scouts from Cypress Troop 1447 in earning their Girl Scout Silver Award!

For more information, please contact Cori Murakami at 714-892-6198. Remember, you are the solution to stopping pollution!
