The following information was released by Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
The Holy Cross Lutheran Church is pleased to announce a new and exciting community concert series of 4 performances, SUNDAY SERENADES. These concerts feature outstanding musicians from Southern California, performing for the purpose of bringing together and engaging Holy Cross and our surrounding communities in the musical arts. All performances begin at 4:00p.m. in our sanctuary. A reception to meet the artists and enjoy some delicious refreshments will follow three of the performances. The Victorian Christmas performance will start at 3:00p.m. with a Victorian Afternoon Tea in the Parish Hall.
- Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 – Grace Lee, soprano, in Recital. Meet the artist reception following.
- Sunday, December 2, 2012 – “A Victorian Christmas” featuring the Starlight Carolers, under the direction of Dr. Sheridan Ball, and Victorian Afternoon Tea.
- Sunday, February 10, 2013 – Pinio Dovalis Benetatos and Kathryn Klein, duo pianists, in concert. Meet the artists reception following.
- Sunday, April 14, 2013 – The McKinley String Quartet, featuring music of Mozart, Beethoven and original compositions by Sarah Wallin Huff, first violinist. Meet the artists reception following.
