COUNSELING – 3:47 p.m. – 9800 block of Valley View St. - A family friend has been following the caller’s daughter around at her school. The subject has already been kicked off of school property for trespassing. Counseled.
EXTRA PATROL CHECK – 5:47 p.m. – 9600 block of Oakmount - Patrol checks were requested for a female subject who was not allowed at the residence and is a drug user. The caller was very concerned that she may break into the residence because she just left a drug treatment program. The beat unit was advised.

EXTRA PATROL CHECK – 2:07 p.m. – 9200 block of Grindlay - Ongoing problem with subjects sleeping on campus in various spots during the night.
CITIZEN ASSIST – 4:32 p.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. - Civil issue regarding a traffic collision that occurred on the property. An employee drying off the car did not engage the parking brake. The car rolled forward and collided with a light pole The vehicle owner was provided with the car wash owner’s name.

DISTURBANCE (Family) – 1:51 a.m. – 10300 block of Sande - The caller reported her husband who had been drinking threw a brick at the her front window and left the location. It was determined that there was a verbal disturbance between ex-wife and ex-husband, who reside together, over the male half’s drunk girlfriend. There was no merit to the claim of vandalism to the window. The male half took his girlfriend home due to the angry ex-wife.
DISTURBANCE (Subject) – 7:47 a.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – Ongoing issue with a subject following the caller. The caller was walking a dog and had been followed by this subject before from the area of Katella and Western. The subject was counseled regarding him possibly following his neighbor. Party advised and will comply.

DISTURBANCE (Family) – 12:48 a.m. – 10000 block of Valley View St. - Disturbance between the caller and his female friend. The caller advised she was trying to attack and run him over. The female went southbound on Valley View. The caller had been drinking. The female on 911 claimed it was a big misunderstanding. The female driver was driving recklessly because she was upset. Officers were unable to confirm a crime. Both subjects were counseled.
WELFARE CHECK – 12:49 p.m. – Surrey/Lexington - A female subject was making statements about overdosing and acting suspiciously. The female told the caller that she was blind and without her seeing-eye dog. The female also said she overdosed on her pills. The female left, talking to herself. The officer was unable to locate the subject.

CITIZEN ASSIST – 2:06 a.m. – 6200 block of Lincoln Ave. - The caller’s mother was not allowing her back into the room and the caller doesn’t know why. The caller doesn’t believe that her mother has been drinking, but most likely the caller has been. Counseled.
BABY LOCKED IN A VEHICLE – 10:05 a.m. – 5100 block of Cumberland Dr. - A female locked a two-year-old child in a vehicle. AAA was en route. The child was not in distress. The vehicle was running with the air conditioner on and the child was okay. AAA unlocked the door.

GRAND THEFT REPORT – 10:07 a.m. – 5200 block of Lincoln Ave. - $2,200 in cash was taken from a wallet inside the residence. The victim believes the suspect was the cable technician who set up her internet that same day. Report taken.
DRUGS – 12:21 p.m. – 9800 block of Valley View – A female student was detained in the main office for selling Xanax at school. She was also in possession of morphine. The female was booked on possession for sale of a controlled substance and transportation or sale of a controlled substance. A second subject was in custody for possession of a controlled substance.

POLICE INFORMATION – 2:45 p.m. – 5300 block of Hanover Dr. - The caller had been receiving calls from an unknown subject stating that someone has been charging on the caller’s Walmart card. The caller does not have a Walmart card.
ASSIST OUTSIDE AGENCY – 6:11 p.m. – 4800 block of Fieldbrook Ln. - Cypress Police attempted to contact a burglary suspect for the Brea Police Department. The suspect me the reporting party at his residence regarding a CraigsList contact. When they went inside to test the Xbox that was being purchased, the suspect stole the victim’s cell phone and ran out of the house. Police made contact with the subject, who had the victim’s cell phone on his person. The suspect was taken into custody by the Brea Police Department.
