West Orange County Connectors Project nighttime closures 4 December through 8 December

The following information was released by Orange County Transportation Authority.

As a result of the rain over the weekend, there are no closures scheduled tonight, Monday, Dec. 3. Nighttime closures this week are scheduled Tuesday, Dec. 4 through Saturday, Dec. 8.

Construction activity this week will include installation of temporary bridge supports and minor demolition activity on the Seal Beach Boulevard bridge, minor demolition activity on the eastbound SR-22 connector to the northbound I-405 freeway, falsework installation on the southbound I-405 connector to the eastbound SR-22 freeway and minor earthwork, electrical work and paving activity.

Full freeway closures

Portions of the I-405 freeway will be closed Tuesday night, Dec. 4 through Saturday night, Dec. 8 between Valley View Street and Studebaker Road. Specific times are listed below.

Northbound I-405 Freeway between Valley View Street and Seal Beach Boulevard
Closed nightly between 11:59 p.m. and 5 a.m., Tuesday night, Dec. 4 and Wednesday night, Dec. 5

Southbound I-405 Freeway from Studebaker Road to Bolsa Chica Road
Closed nightly between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Tuesday night, Dec. 4 through Saturday night, Dec. 8

Connector closures

The following local freeway connectors will be closed nightly this week between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., unless otherwise stated. Specific dates listed below.

Northbound I-405 Connector to Northbound I-605 Freeway
Closed nightly between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Tuesday night, Dec. 4 through Thursday night, Dec. 6

Southbound I-605 Connector to Southbound I-405 Freeway
Closed nightly between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Tuesday night, Dec. 4 through Saturday night, Dec. 8

Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Southbound I-405 Freeway
Closed nightly between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Tuesday night, Dec. 4 through Saturday night, Dec. 8

Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Northbound I-605 Freeway
Closed nightly between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Tuesday night, Dec. 4 through Thursday night, Dec. 6

Southbound I-405 / Southbound I-605 Connectors to Westbound SR-22 / 7th Street
Closed nightly between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Tuesday night, Dec. 4 through Thursday night, Dec. 6

The following local freeway on- and off-ramps will be closed nightly this week between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., unless otherwise stated. Specific dates listed below.

Eastbound SR-22 Studebaker Road On-Ramp
Closed nightly between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., Tuesday night, Dec. 4 through Thursday night, Dec. 6

Northbound I-405 Seal Beach Boulevard Off-Ramp
Closed from 10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6 to 5 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7
