Cypress Civic Center

The following information was released by the City of Cypress.

The City of Cypress, in keeping with its ongoing efforts to serve all members of the community, is updating its Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) transition plan and self-evaluation.  The accessibility plan provides a comprehensive plan for access for individuals with disabilities to City buildings, sidewalks, programs, services, activities and events.

The City of Cypress is seeking input from agencies, organizations and individuals with disabilities.  As an agency, organization or individual, the value of stakeholder guidance will help to address and prioritize current and future needs.  Individuals who would like to provide input are invited to complete a survey, call or email the ADA Coordinator.

Surveys are available for organizations that represent individuals with disabilities, patrons, community members, employees, and other interested individuals who wish to participate in the evaluation.

Your comments and opinions are important to us and will provide valuable information regarding how the City of Cypress can better serve individuals with disabilities.  Surveys can be mailed to you, or downloaded from the City’s website at www.ci.cypress.ca.us, or picked-up from the following locations:

City Hall
5275 Orange Avenue
Cypress, CA 90630

Community Center
5700 Orange Avenue
Cypress, CA 90630

Senior Center
9031 Grindlay Street
Cypress, CA 90630

Library
5331 Orange Avenue

Please contact Andrew J. Tse, Administrative Services Manager, if you have questions or comments or would like to request a survey in an alternate format.

Information regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act can be obtained from the ADA Coordinator. The City of Cypress complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Public Law 101-336, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability.
