West Orange County Connectors Project nighttime closures from Friday, Dec. 7, through Sunday, Dec. 9

The following information was released by Orange County Transportation Authority.

Please see below for an updated list of nighttime closures scheduled Friday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 9. There are no closures scheduled Saturday night, December 8.

Seal Beach Boulevard Closed between Old Ranch Parkway and North Gate Road
Closed between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., Friday night, Dec. 7 and Sunday night, Dec. 9

Full freeway closures

Portions of the I-405 freeway will be closed between Valley View Street and Studebaker Road. Specific dates and times are listed below.

Northbound I-405 Freeway between Valley View St. and Seal Beach Blvd.
Closed from 11:59 p.m. Sunday, December 9 to 5 a.m. Monday, December 10

Southbound I-405 Freeway from Studebaker Rd. to Bolsa Chica Rd.
Closed between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Friday night, Dec. 7 and Sunday night, Dec. 9

Connector closures

The following local freeway connectors will be closed between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. See below for specific dates.

Southbound I-605 Connector to Southbound I-405 Freeway
Closed between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Friday night, Dec. 7 and Sunday night, Dec. 9

Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Southbound I-405 Freeway
Closed between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Friday night, Dec. 7 and Sunday night, Dec. 9

Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Northbound I-605 Freeway
Closed from 11 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 to 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10

Southbound I-405 / Southbound I-605 Connectors to Westbound SR-22 / 7th Street
Closed from 11 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 to 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11

Ramp closures

Eastbound SR-22 Studebaker Road On-Ramp
Closed from 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 to 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10

Use the map below to help navigate around project closures. Streets highlighted in orange are recommended detour routes that may be used to avoid getting caught in nighttime closures.
