The following information was released by the City of Anaheim.

Calling all yard and garage sale sellers and shoppers! This Saturday and Sunday marks Anaheim’s first yard sale weekend.

Yard and garage sales are a great way to add to a collection, to make extra room in the house or garage, as well as to get to know your neighbor.

Yard and garage sales in Anaheim are held on the first weekends (Saturday and Sunday only) of March, June, September and December, between the hours of 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. It is up to the Anaheim property owner on when to open or close his/her yard sale within the designated timeframes. Merchandise items shall be kept on the site excluding any public sidewalk, parkway, street, alley or public property. For complete information on yard and garage sale conditions, please click here.

Need a little help in selling and buying? There are many online resources, including popular television network websites specializing in do-it-yourself projects, or by entering “yard sale ideas” in an internet search bar.

With the weekend weather forecast at high 70’s to low 80’s, it’s an ideal weekend to enjoy Anaheim outdoors.

So dust off that unused furniture and collectibles, or put on some comfortable walking shoes. But most of all remember to have fun!
